Names of throws are divided in these categories:

1. Callings that saz an action

(osoto-gari - big outer throw )

(ouchi-gari-geashi -counter attack on a big internal grabbing )

( deashi-barai - cleaning of the frong leg) etc

2. Callings that name different part of our body in throws

(hiza-guruma -wheel of knee )

(uchimata -inner thigh )

(kata-guruma -shoulder wheel ) etc.

3. Callings that name the side on which we throw

(yoko-otoshi - hrow in the side )

(sumi-otoshi - throw in the corner ) etc.

4. Callings that name the shape of an action

(tomoe-nage - circle throw ) etc

5. Callings that say what the throw in refering to

(yama-arashi - mountain storm )

(tani-otoshi - throw in the valley ) etc.
